1. Introduction
Thank you for choosing Jen School of Motoring. By booking lessons or using our website, you agree to the Terms & Conditions outlined below. These help ensure a smooth, safe, and positive learning experience for every pupil.
2. Driving Lessons
- All lessons are delivered by a fully qualified, DVSA approved driving instructor.
- Lessons are one to one unless otherwise agreed.
- The instructor may stop or refuse a lesson if a pupil is unfit to drive (e.g., due to alcohol, drugs, illness, or unsafe behaviour).
- Pupils must hold a valid provisional driving licence and bring it to their first lesson.
3. Payments & Pricing
- Lesson fees are payable in advance or at the start of each session.
- Block bookings are non refundable but may be transferred at the instructor’s discretion.
- Prices may be updated from time to time, but any lessons already booked will remain at the agreed rate.
4. Cancellations & Rescheduling
- A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required to cancel or move a lesson.
- Late cancellations (less than 24 hours) may be charged at the full lesson rate.
- If the instructor needs to cancel due to illness, vehicle issues, or unsafe weather, the lesson will be rearranged at no extra cost.
5. Instructor Responsibilities
- Provide a safe, roadworthy, fully insured vehicle for tuition.
- Teach in a patient, supportive, and professional manner.
- Help pupils progress at a pace that suits their ability and confidence.
6. Pupil Responsibilities
- Arrive on time and in a fit condition to drive.
- Follow instructions and drive safely at all times.
- Inform the instructor of any changes to health, eyesight, or licence status.
7. Driving Tests
- Pupils are responsible for booking their own driving test unless agreed otherwise.
- Use of the instructor’s car for the test is not guaranteed and depends on the pupil’s readiness and safety.
- If the instructor believes the pupil is not yet test ready, they may refuse use of the vehicle.
8. Liability
- Jen School of Motoring is not responsible for loss, damage, or injury unless caused by instructor negligence.
- Pupils are legally responsible for any driving offences committed during lessons or tests.
9. Website Use
- Website content is provided for general information and may be updated at any time.
- We aim for accuracy but cannot guarantee completeness or reliability.
- Unauthorised use of website content may result in a claim for damages.
10. Privacy
- Personal information (such as name, contact details, and lesson history) is used only for managing bookings and communication.
- We do not share personal data with third parties unless required by law.
